Empowering Educational Advocacy
Shared Voice Educational Advocacy
We are a dedicated educational advocacy and consulting firm, committed to empowering families in special education.
Our Journey, Your Voice
Shared Voice Educational Advocacy was born from a passion to support families who often feel unheard or overwhelmed in the education system. After years of witnessing systemic barriers, our founder left her role in public education to stand beside parents as a trusted guide—someone who understands both the classroom and the law. With over 20 years of experience in special education, we bring a deep understanding of IDEA, IEPs, FAPE, and trauma-informed and neuro-affirming behavioral supports. Our approach is strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and tailored to support rural and underserved communities.

Tailored Advocacy
At Shared Voice Educational Advocacy, we offer a comprehensive range of services designed to empower families and support every child’s right to a meaningful, individualized education. Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each family, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive in their educational journey.

Special Education Advocacy
We provide expert guidance and support for Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and 504 plans. Our team works closely with families to understand their child’s unique needs and to ensure that their educational rights are upheld. We assist in navigating evaluations, determining eligibility, and advocating for appropriate services.

Parent Coaching
We believe that parents are an integral part of their child’s education. We equip parents with the knowledge and strategies needed to effectively collaborate with school teams. Our coaching sessions provide parents with the tools they need to advocate for their child’s educational rights.

Behavioral Intervention Planning
We offer guidance on trauma-informed and neuro-affirming behavioral supports. Our team understands the importance of creating a safe and supportive learning environment for every child. We work with families and schools to develop effective behavioral intervention plans that respect and affirm the neurodiversity of each child.

Transition Support
We assist with post-secondary planning, ensuring a smooth transition for your child from school to the next stage of their life. Whether it’s transitioning to higher education or entering the workforce, we provide the support and guidance needed to make this process as seamless as possible.

Training and Resources
We provide training and resources for families and school districts. Our goal is to equip everyone involved in a child’s education with the knowledge and skills they need to support the child’s success. We offer a variety of resources, including workshops, seminars, and informational materials.
Why Choose Shared Voice Educational Advocacy
At Shared Voice Educational Advocacy, we are more than just an educational advocacy and consulting firm. We are a team of dedicated professionals who believe in the power of education and the importance of every child’s right to a meaningful, individualized education. Our approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a deep commitment to serving our clients.
Experienced Advocacy
Our team is led by a nationally certified educational advocate with over 20 years of experience in special education. This includes roles in self-contained and resource settings, Autism and Early Childhood Special Education, gifted education, behavior coaching, and IEP team leadership. This breadth of experience gives us a unique perspective and allows us to provide expert guidance and support.

Personal Insight
Our founder is not only a seasoned professional in the field of special education but also a parent of neurodivergent children. This firsthand insight into navigating the system adds a layer of understanding and empathy to our services that sets us apart. We understand the challenges and emotions that come with advocating for a child’s education because we’ve been there.
Tailored Support
We recognize that every family, and every child, is unique. That’s why we offer tailored support to meet the specific needs of each client. We have a particular focus on serving rural and underserved communities, ensuring that every voice is heard, no matter where they are located.

Neurodiversity-Affirming Approach
We believe in celebrating and respecting the neurodiversity of each child. Our approach is strengths-based, focusing on what each child can do, rather than what they can’t. We advocate for trauma-informed and neuro-affirming behavioral supports that respect each child’s unique way of being.
Grace and Collaboration
We believe in the power of collaboration and approach each case with grace. We work closely with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure that every child receives the support they need. We are not just advocates; we are partners in your child’s education.
